Gramercy Cellars

At the age of only 26, Greg Harrington became the youngest person to pass the brutally difficult Court of Master Sommeliers’ Masters Examination. This distinguished Master Sommelier (today, only 269 people in the world hold this title) owns Gramercy Cellars of Washington State that produces strictly 8,000 cases annually. Gramercy’s philosophy is all about preserving the integrity of the fruit and vintage: to source the best vineyards, harvest ripe (not overripe) grapes, intervene minimally in the winemaking process, and use as little new oak as possible. The resultant wines display balance, intensity and elegance.


Lingua Franca

Established in 2012, Lingua Franca of Oregon is founded by Larry Stone, the illustrious San Francisco Master Sommelier, and Dominique Lafon, the legendary Burgundy winemaker. Lingua Franca – which translates as “honest tongue” – is inspired by a desire for transparency in winemaking and purity in the vineyard. Larry Stone found exactly this in the extraordinary vineyard site in the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley. All work is guided by respect for the environment by following sustainable farming practices.
